Oadby Remembers
1914-1918


Oadby remembers the 73 casualties who gave their lives for freedom.

This site is dedicated to their memory and to the memory of other Oadby servicemen, un-named, who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the Great War. We also honour those who served and returned; and their families who kept the home fires burning in Oadby.

We are partnered with the Imperial War Museum Centenary and are grateful to the Oadby Residents’ Forum, the Oadby Village Hall Trust and the Leicester Diocese for their generous funding, without which this website and the project would not exist.
